REGISTERING DOGS WITH USDAA & CPE
A requirement to competing in agility in USDAA and CPE is that
the dog must be registered with the sanctioning organization
before the closing date for the trial.
This web page is not intended to give you all the information necessary
for registering dogs. It is intended as a guideline only.
The simplest way to enter a trial is to register your dog as early as you know you will be competing with your future champ! Here are some hints to make this process easier for you.
PLEASE BE SURE TO REGISTER YOUR DOG(S) BEFORE YOU SEND AN ENTRY FOR A TRIAL.
USDAA trials - go to www.USDAA.com and register your dog online. You will get your dog's number immediately! OR print, complete and mail in the dog registration form available in premiums or online at USDAA's web site. And don't forget to sign up as a Subscriber!! You can view all the historical information on your dog, including your dog's qualifying scores, titles and much more! Click here for more information on how to become a subscriber!
CPE trials - obtain a dog registration form either from a premium OR go to www.k9cpe.com and download and complete their dog registration form. When done filling it out, send it in directly to CPE.
Estimate your dog's height as closely as you can. Better yet! Have your instructor help you measure your dog!
The best place to go for answers to your questions??? Talk to USDAA or CPE. Another option is to talk with your agility class instructor. Your instructor is a great person to talk with when you're about to fill out your first Entry Form for your very first trial! Most are more than willing to help you out with your first trial!
PLEASE!!! Mail those dog registration forms in early. Thank you.
